Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather in Tampa Bay has been beautiful lately, but it sure does seem more like summer than spring. The fish must be thinking the same thing because they sure are acting like they normally do in early summer. I'm sure not complaining though, it is a very good thing. If you want to catch fish, now is a great time to do it.

It doesn't matter if you want to catch a big tarpon, or lots of snook and redfish, they are all biting. The other day, we hooked a nice 50 lb to 60 lb tarpon and the biggest bull shark I've ever seen came up and chased it. It seems a bit early for that, but it shows that shark fishing must be good too!
