tampa bay fishing charters

Capt. Tony Frankland
August 18, 2013
Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report

well the weather here in tampa bay has been hot! the only thing hotter is the mangrove snapper bite. they have been all over tampa bay with big ones biting near the artificial reefs in the bay. the key is to have alot of bait! chumming with live and cut scaled sardines have worked the best. large trout have been caught on the deep grass flats with mackerel and bluefish biting well also. the snook bite has also been good for as hot as it is right now.
