Tampa Bay - Saltwater Fishing Report
Reel Till U Feel Charters fishing report for Tampa Bay
The Snook bite is about as Hot as it could be. A lot of 23 to 26 inch Snook have been caught with a Trophy 39 inch along with a few slot size this past week. The Scaled Sardine is the bait of choice.
Finding the Redfish roaming the flats in and around the Mullet schools eating Small Pinfish and Scaled Sardines. The Black Drum are eating half Blue Crabs around the bridges.
Finding the Trout bite hot one day and not the next, mostly in the deeper grass. Most have been in the 15 to 18 inch range.
Spanish Mackerel have arrived and are eager to bite Spoons and Greenbacks. A frozen chum will draw them to you along with some Sharks.
Some Very Nice Mangrove Snapper have been invited home for a fish fry this past week. One angler caught a 19 ½ inch Mango, That's the largest one I've seen caught in the middle part of Tampa Bay along with a few 17 ½ inch ones.
A few Tarpon have been seen rolling around the bridges, the big push of the Silver King is just around the corner.
Now is the time to get outdoors and enjoy the Florida sun.
