King Mackerel run in Tampa bay has been good. Kingfish are following
their migration pattern up the west coast of Florida towards Louisiana.
They got a bit of a late start this year, but finally arrived in good
numbers along Tampa's shipping channels, Skyway Bridge, artifical reefs
and Clearwaters renowned hard bottom.

Pete and Ray Lusoltren with fellow angler Armondo boated some nice smoker
kings.Their kingfish were caught while fishing the dolphins at Tampa's
Skyway Bridge with captain Sean Hagen of Shamrock Fishing Charters.

The kingfish were reacting to live pilchards in the 4-6 inch range,
free lined tarpon fashion on 80lb Eupro IT flouro carbon.

Till next time have a safe and quality day on the water.
