Tampa, FL Fishing Report July 6, 2014
What is Hotter than the outside temperatures? The Mangrove Snapper Bite, aka Mangos, Mangroves, Gray Snapper, what ever you call them, they are fun to catch and make a delicious meal. Live Shrimp, Cut pieces of Shrimp, Small Green Backs whole and cut pieces work well for the Mangos.
This last weeks charters has been a mix bag of fish being landed. Redfish on the high water, Trout on the cooler incoming water. Snook running the shoreline. Flounder in the pot holes. Black Drum and Cobia around the bridges. Black Tip Sharks along the shipping channel.
Fish early morning or late evening to beat the heat. If fishing mid day, Fish deeper water and find the moving water.
