Fishing off Venice continues to be very good

Capt. Dave Pinkham

Venice - Saltwater Fishing Report

I was down at Venice Inlet this morning. The water color was beautiful. There was plenty of schooling pilchards all up and down the beach and all around the rocks at the Jetty.

I didn't bring my rod but I stood there and watched several anglers hook up with jack crevele, ladyfish, Spanish mackerel, and snook.

Tell ya what, if you have time get down to the beach there are plenty of fish to go around.
