Venice Inlet and the Gulf of Mexico

Capt. Dave Pinkham
February 21, 2008
Venice - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing Action Action on Gulf Continues to be very Productive

All of our charters have been producing plenty of fish.

On the half day trips we are having lots of rod bending action with mangrove snapper, Spanish mackerel, cobia, and little tunny.

We've also been catching a lot of grouper which must be released until March 15th.

The longer trips are catching all the same fish plus some big amberjack, and an occasional blackfin tuna.

The Gulf has been beautiful, and the fishing has been great!
