Capt. Robert Eidson
September 24, 2009
Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].

The Lake is TRASHED !!!! The lake as of 9/24 was over 13 feet above summer pool. There is only two ramps open Stamp Creek and Galts Ferry. There is major debris mid-lake north and again on the southend of the lake from Iron Hill all the way up Allatoona Creek. You best bet to catch stripers right now is to go to Lanier. I have moved all of my trips for this past week and next week to Lanier as well. The bite on Lanier has been great for me and my clients. Down-lining live bait 40-70 all over the river channel has been working very well for me. We have also caught some really nice fish pulling leadcore, 9 colors with a 1 1/2 oz Mack Farr jig tip with a Blue-back Herring has been working best.

THE NEXT PARTY BOAT TRIP Will be on 10/21. The trip will be and 8 hour trip and will cost $125 per person. There location for this trip has not yet been decided. We are hoping to do this trip on Carters Lake but may have to move it to Lanier do to high water and debris. Give me a call at 770 827-6282 if you would like to book a seat. This trips are alot of fun and a great way to meet some new friends. The trips are non-alcoholic trips so please leave the beer at home..
