Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770 827-6282. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].
Lake Allatoona line sides fishing is good and the shad kill has started but it hasn't hurt the fishing yet. We are seeing fish busting the top on the dying thread fin shad early in the morning and late afternoon. Flat lines and planner boards are working best right now with the busting fish. But you can also get bit throwing a 3/8 buck tail jig at them to but by mid day the fishing slows down. Your best bet then is to go to trolling and the south end of the lake is by far the best place to be right now. We have reports that Gaults Ferry has had schooling hybrid in the morning and that may be worth a look. Trolling is still working and the best time seems to be mid day. Mack Farr u-rigs in all white are by far the best. For the next month we are going to offer a Carters Lake special along with and Allatoona special when you mention Ken Sturdivant’s name. Call for details and kids all ways fish free with paying adults.
SPECIAL REPORT: CARTERS LAKE IS FULL BY ROBERT EIDSON FIRST BITE GUIDE SERVICE 678-363-6260
Line sides fishing are good on Carters right now and trout are still the ticket early in the morning on flat lines and planner boards. There is only about and hour window that this will work right at sun up and then the bite does a 180 on us. They go DEEP, real deep. This week the fish were as deep as 57 feet and the ticket to catching these fish is the find the bait. Almost all creeks are holding fish and bait but in some of the creeks they may be in the mouth. In others they may be half way back. Find the bait and down line right on top of them. If you need bait Bart's bait and tackle has what you need here is their phone number.706-253-BAIT. Trolling is working really well and just like at Allatoona, the Mack Farr umbrella rig in all white trolled right on top of the bait will get you bit. For the next 2 months we are going to have a Carters Lake special a full day trip for 2 people (8 hours) for $350.00 and if you mention Ken Sturdivant you can add a 3 person for FREE and remember kids all ways fish free with paying adults. Give me a call and let’s go get that record fish. Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 678-363-6260.
