Lake Allatoona - Freshwater Fishing Report

This striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 678-363-6260. www. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Lake Allatoona, Georgia email: [email protected].

Line sides fishing is good and the fish are starting to bunch up. There about two weeks late. But there bunching up pretty good right now. The fish are from the north end to the south end. In all the main creeks. Start looking in the mouth and work your way back. Once you start marking bait turn off your big motor and start looking. .These fish are any were from the top to 30 feet deep. This depends on were the bait is. Flat-lines Planner-broads and down lines are working great. There will be times you can't get more then 1 line out each. Gizzard shad is my bait of choice. But I really don't think it matters. Spring is here and they want to eat. And a half ounce Flex-spoons in white with silver will also get bit. Trollers keep your u-rigs out I have had some very good reports on big fish on all white. These fish will also so hit a top water bait this time a year. Chug bugs, Sammy, and Red fins just keep your eyes open. April is one of the best months on Allatoona for stripes and hybrids so don’t miss it. Spring Deal. Mention KEN STURDIVANT and get $25.00 off a full day on Allatoona. www.firstbiteguideservice.com

Crappie fishing is really taking off using black and chartreuse on 1/16 ounce jig head. The evenings have been with the wind dying down. There are a lot fish in the mouth of Sweetwater Creek and use the same color jig head. Fish are staging in the mouth of the larger creeks waiting to go in on some warm weather. Give the fish two weeks and be ready!!! Trolling should be at its best. Now you can get your weekly Fish and Game Forecast on our web site for FREE! Get your copy at www.moontimes.com.
