Lake Lanier Striper Fishing

Capt. Scott Collins
April 22, 2013
Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

Striper fishing has been good on Lanier. Most mornings the fish have been up shallow on points and humps mid-way to the backs of the creeks. Flat-lines and down-lines are working depending on the depth of the fish. There is a top-water bite for striper on bone super spooks, and jerk baits. We're catching a mixed bag of stripers and spotted bass on herring. Carry a lot of bait this time of year. Some days have been better that others. On the warm sunny days fishing has been great. The fish are up and active. The cold windy mornings have been alittle slower for us. We still have a couple of open dates in April. Call me at 678-634-3408 for rates and availability. See you on the water.
