Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

The fishing on Lake Lanier has been very good overall, since my last report. Our boats have done very well on freelined bluebacks out over the channel and on points and humps. There are some nice stripers in the very backs of creeks, but we've mostly been further on out on the main lake. We've also been catching and releasing some super magnum spots that are out swimming with the stripers. The crappie fishing has also been very good. Our crappie guide has been doing well on minnows and jigs around brush. We will be open for morning and afternoon guide trips daily during spring break. The fishing has been very good and it's a great time of the year to bring a kid or elderly person out for some warm weather fun.

This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service, Hammond's Fishing Center, Carolina Skiff Boats, Suzuki Marine, Magic Tilt, Lowrance, and Minn Kota. Good Fishing and We Appreciate Your Business.
