Lake Lanier - Freshwater Fishing Report

After a slow start to spring Lake Lanier is starting to pick up. Striper Cartel guide Jim W. reports plenty of numbers on the south end of the lake and big fish bite starting to pick up in the north ends. The big bait bite has been slow, but over the last week it has improved some. For the smaller fish, herring and other small baits are where it's at. Will be fishing all week and expect the next ten days of warm weather to really set it off.
