Lake Oconee - Freshwater Fishing Report

Well, finally the holidays are over. Not that I am a scrooge or anything, but it is time to get back to work, and the fish have been waiting for us!!

Over Christmas and New Years I did go out "play fishing" a few times and what I found was exciting. The line-sides are bunching up down in the south end of the lake and the spoon bite is red hot. We caught big numbers each day we were out and it is only going to get better each day.

The crappie are ready to start their winter bite and last year this time we were bring in some really big fish and great numbers. It is time to get on these things, give us a call and we'll do just that!

His boat is a Ranger 2300 Bay Series powered by a 225 Yamaha 4-stroke motor. It is spacious and can fish up to 6 people! During the hot summer months he heads to the Chattahoochee River to pursue monster Striped bass. He fishes from a custom jet boat, built exclusively for fishing the river.
