Red Hot Linesides!

Lake Oconee - Freshwater Fishing Report

It is on again, still, right now, however you want to say it, the fish are doing really great on Lake Oconee. By far this has been our greatest Hybrid and Striper in a long time, and it is not over by no means!

The fishing should be great for the next 2 months, with record sizes and catches all ready coming in on our boat and many other anglers boats. We are floating live shad down at the dam and in just a few days the fish will start transitioning to the deep water humps on the lake. Easy fun fishing for us, hard complicated fishing for weekend guys. The fish will move from one area to the next without warning. The best part about this year is the numbers of fish you can catch in a day. I strongly urge my customers to do half days because the fishing is so good.

If you are a weekend angler you should really look into our new service called Access Oconee! Go to www.fishingoconee.com and check it out on the home page. It gives real time fishing updates and reports about where the fish are. It is the best tool for the weekend fisherman, ESPECIALLY FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON!

Right now the fish are at the dam, but in a few days it will start the best part of the year for catching large numbers of fish. Give me a call if your interested in booking a trip.
