Chasing Reds Before the Storm

Capt. Joe Ezell
October 12, 2019
Delacroix - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past week we helped Captain Casey Brunning of Hurricane Bay Charters with a trip. Kim Schulte and her dad Dave climbed aboard the Majek from another dock as the water is so high that my dock is flooded. The weather was a factor again today as we fished our first three spots with one eye on a nasty storm to our south. We put 4 in the box, moving north ahead of the storm. At our last stop, we got on a steady bite, and they didn't let up on them until number 10 hit the ice. We did a little catch and release until the wind picked up and called it a day. A great crew that was an absolute pleasure to fish with. Thanks to Captain Casey for the trip!
