Another early start from the Reel Inn Fishing Lodge had us on the fish at our first stop. Day 2 with Bill Vidrine, Troy Martin, Richard Walters, Sid Vanetten, and Moose joined me today. We chased birds for a couple hours then decided to leave the birds to fish reefs. We caught trout at every stop again today, (all trout caught under corks, not a single fish would take a chub or swimbait). Plenty 11-11 1/2 inch fish all over the area as it's been about a 4-1 throwback to keeper ratio. I decided to fish the ponds today for reds, with not much luck. We only found one red to take a hook. Called it quits at 12:00 as my crew had to get back. My crew enjoyed 2 great days catching at least 250-300 fish and I'm sure the Ilinois boys will be talking about it for a while. Thanks again guys for two great days, I look forward to your return.
