Dularge - Saltwater Fishing Report
Good having Branden Pippen back on board today, Jacob & Jeff Boudreaux, and Shannon Ertrand also joined us. FOGGY, FOGGY start to our morning!!! We were fishing for 7:00 looking for trout. With only a couple hitting the ice and a few more misses I decided to go hit the reds we found yesterday. One stop and it was REDFISH HEAVEN!!!! Power Pole down and the guys had me running back and forth netting all the fish coming in. Good as it gets as all my crew were reeling them in every-cast (it didn't matter what you threw as they were devouring everything). After catching over 40 reds and a few bass, boxing our 25 fish limit we were off searching for trout again. I covered most of lower Dularge only finding 20 trout. Water temps up to 68 degrees today have the trout moving out their winter holes, the full moon didnt help either. Should be getting real good again very soon as the Spring run is fixing to bust loose. Thanks to my crew for another surperb day and breaking in the boat!!!!! Big thanks to Capt Rob Dupont for running the second boat with Matt Ory and crew.
