Dularge Reds 4-28-09

Capt. Marty LaCoste
April 30, 2009
Dularge - Saltwater Fishing Report

Day 1, with a three man crew from Shreveport. We tried for trout early this morning finding clean water but no trout. We drifted one flock of birds boating one single trout. Decided we better run to the ponds, so we did. Slow day today as we drifted numerous ponds, ditches, and broken marsh to only hook up with 16 reds and one trout that was lost. Crystal clear water in the ponds today as I could see the reds cruising right next to the boat, but they would not take the bait. Looking forward to getting on the trout tomorrow if the wind stays down....we will see!!! Thanks to Capt. Bill Lake for putting the trip together
