Dularge Trout and Reds 4-29-09

Capt. Marty LaCoste
May 1, 2009
Dularge - Saltwater Fishing Report

Day 2 with the guys from Shreveport found us reeling in trout at our first stop. Sure was nice to see some pretty water and watch the trout chasing shrimp all across the water. The guys didn't set any limits today, but put some decent 14-18 inch trout in the box. After the bite played out we ran to the ponds and added six reds to the box. The largest red went 29 inches and the rest averaged about 18-20. The water in the ponds are still crystal clear making it easy to sight cast to reds close to the boat. Every-fish caught on plastic baits as usual. Thanks again to Capt. Bill Lake for putting the trip together.
