Dularge - Saltwater Fishing Report
Awesome day to be on the water today as the trout have showed up and are biting. I helped out Capt Ryan young with a three boat charter. Great communication and team work made for a successful day for all 3 boats. The nine man crew came back to the dock with over 250 fish today. Full box's, happy customers, and good times had by all!! We had a blast slinging in 14-18 inch fish all day. It was fish on every-cast at our first stop until the sun came up and shut the bite down. We ended up finding the fish in one of my old honey holes, not another boat in sight!!! All solid fish today as we had less than 10 throwback specks all day. Cocodrie Cocahoes continue to do all the damage as there is no other bait you need in the boat. I only used two tails all day long catching well over 50 fish. The durability of these baits is incredible, talk about getting your monies worth. Thanks again to my my crew and to Capt Ryan for setting up the trip.
Big thanks also to Terry on the Catchdat-two for sharing a spot this morning. Also for hooking me up with my new Local Hooker rod. Going to put it to good use tomorrow Terry!! Got the U.S. Reel rigged and ready.
