Adam Town, John "The Trout/Red Slayer " Adam, and Brad Ewing joined me today. My crew experienced a great Trout and redfish bite this morning. We jumped all over the trout this morning with our first cast. Shrimp were jumping out the water all around us with hungry trout in HOT pursuit!!! Our double rigged LSU Chubs and Sparkle Beetles put a hurting on the trout as they tore them up. It was another early morning bite as the bite shut down around 8-8:30am. We headed North around 9:00 to look for reds. One drift down a bank with spinner baits and Saltwater Tackle Holographic Minnows put six reds in the boat and had another three fish spit the hook at us. 13yr old John Adam totally crushed the Trout and reds as he was steadily reeling in fish all day. Double hook ups on trout and he put 4 reds in the boat. This young teen is going to grow up to be one great fisherman. Thanks guys for another excellent day "Down Dularge".
