Shell Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

West wind trout at Shell Beach. Saturday I had the Reliable Disposal crew on the boat. We were greeted to a stiff NW wind that made for a rather sporty ride to our destination. Things started off a little slow, but after bouncing around a few wellheads we got on a couple good bites with Campo's live shrimp 3' under a cork. We got lucky with the wind too, as it laid down as we fished making for a nice dry ride back in. The guys had a lot of fun and put together a nice box of fish with 60 trout, 12 reds, and 6 heads.
All fish in the Suzuki powered Blazer Bay 2400 were caught with Campo's live shrimp on Capt. Rory's United Charters custom rods provided by CUI Products with Penn reels, spooled with Power Pro line. All fish removed and boxed with the one and only Just Grab it Glove.
Summer fishing is heating up. Now is the time to get your summer fishing dates in the books while there are still some left. Don't miss out on the fun, call now to book your trip of a lifetime. Overnight accommodations on the bayou are available.
