Today the Bass were doing the Chug Bug .

Shreveport - Freshwater Fishing Report

Today the Bass were doing the Chug Bug thing. The chug bug was on the menu today for the Bass here on lake Bistineau in Bossier, City. They absolutly were tearing this bait up. I was useing a green bass looking chug bug and I said yesterday there gonna blow-up here anyday. Well today was far the best day I have had since pre-spawn. Some people know this lure as a popper or plug but call it what you want I will be useing this baby again in the morning. The different lake was a change that can prove to be a good choice. I noticed the water was clearer and Bass were hyped up. So if your not catching anything at your favorite lake dont be afraid to hit a different lake and stick with it til you find what they want.

Shreveport Fishing Forecast:

I am so exited with what is going on right now. The water temp is just right and the female Bass are moveing around again and there starving they've had a rough time as of lately but thats all changeing for us anglers. This week may start off slow but towards weeks end look-out I expect it be great and the weather should be fine. So go enjoy I know I will.

Target Species:

Largemouth Bass

More Fishing Reports:

I will give brief details of just what the fish are doing, are they biteing or not if so on what.
