Fall Fishing

Penobscot Bay - Freshwater Fishing Report

This will probably be my last post till I get out to do some ice fishing this winter. Hunting season starts next week so I will be out in the woods.

Did get a chance to get out and do a bit of trolling the last couple of days.
Fishing was good. Lake Trout and Splake were the fish of the days. We picked them up on flies and Mooselook Lures trolling slow.

Water temps are cooling off as we speek. The last day out I had 63 degrees which is a bit cool for this time of year.

That is about it for here. Have a great fall and get out and do some fishing.

More Fishing Reports:

Come fish with us east of the Penobscot River, which is known as the Downeast area of Maine. This area has lots of ponds, lakes, and streams to be fished. Trolling streamer flies is one of Maine's fishing traditions. Early spring trolling for Landlocked Salmon and Trout. Troll for Togue (Lake Trout) and other fish through the summer and fall months. Plus fishing for Large or Smallmouth bass with either fly or spinning gear. I also offer icefishing trips in the winter.
