Lots of rain

Penobscot Bay - Freshwater Fishing Report

At this time we are blown out on rivers, streams, and brooks with high water. Fishing in ponds and lakes is the way to go at this time.
Trolling with flies, bait, and lures has been doing well.

Info from a guy I know said that the mackeral are starting to show. So the stripers should be right behind them.

That is it for now. Get out their and catch a few.

More Fishing Reports:

Come fish with us east of the Penobscot River, which is known as the Downeast area of Maine. This area has lots of ponds, lakes, and streams to be fished. Trolling streamer flies is one of Maine's fishing traditions. Early spring trolling for Landlocked Salmon and Trout. Troll for Togue (Lake Trout) and other fish through the summer and fall months. Plus fishing for Large or Smallmouth bass with either fly or spinning gear. I also offer icefishing trips in the winter.
