Fishing Report - Massachusetts Bay and Cape Cod

Stellwagen Bank - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tuna, tuna and more tuna---Thursday, October 18

Wow. In case you haven't been to my website, we've been doing a lot of tuna fishing in Cape Cod Bay for Bluefin Tuna. It's been an amazing summer. In fact, they say that Stellwagen Bank and Peaked Hill Bar are THE PLACES for tuna on the east coast. These have been plentiful fish and large--average fish are 48 inches long and about 75 pounds. Great fighting fish and eating fish!!!

Today was extra effort--we're topwater searching for breaking fish and it was fog all day--we had to stop and just listen for breaking fish. My radar could pick up birds, but the fish breaking didn't happen--we blind cast into good areas and hooked into 5 nice fish, landing three fish! Great day with the group from Brooklyn and Angler's Pro-Shop--check them out online. Great guys with great gear.

More Fishing Reports:

We're the small charter specialists for private 1-4 person groups and shared charters. We fish where the fish are--cod/haddock on Stellwagen Bank, huge sea bass in Buzzards Bay, bluefin tuna on Stellwagen Bank, sharks off of Martha's Vineyard and Wildcat Knoll, Stripers off of Provincetown. We have a great website; visit us often and meet us as friends. We have lots of fun out there and cater to both the novice and veteran alike. Our rates are great and you don't have to get 6 people!!
