Stellwagen Bank - Saltwater Fishing Report
Hammering the cod and haddock today! It was lock-and-load for much of the day. In fact, the morning we had some of the best fishing that we've ever had ever on the boat.
AND TOMORROW, WE HAVE A SHARED CHARTER WITH ROOM FOR YOU! CALL ME AT 508-269-1882
Yes, we fished a bunch of spots today, finding the fish early and staying on them until the tide turned. It was amazing. As is normal, we got many more haddock than cod, but most of the cod were in the 13-22 pound range. Those are great fish. We lost a couple of huge fish as well. The tuna breaking here and there was exciting, but not anything to hang our hat on. Great whale shows for the ride home as well. If you're interested in doing some last-minute fishing tomorrow (great weather and the bite today was amazing), give me a call. Seeing the cod and haddock come over the rail on every drop today was something special. We convinced one person to drop the heavy gear and go light tackle--what a blast!
See you out there, Capt. Rich Antonino
