TEMPERATURES: High of 93 with a low of 72 and some wind yesterday (6/8)
afternoon.
STRIPED MARLIN - Fair catches.
YELLOWFIN TUNA - Good catches at Isla Cerralvo.
DORADO - A few here and there throughout Las Palmas bay.
ROOSTERFISH - They are back in front of the hotels and in front of La
Ribera.
JACK CREVALLE - Beaches producing excellent catches of quality fish.
BARRILLETE OR MEXICAN SKIPJACK - Plenty at Isla Cerralvo.
PARGO AND CABRILLA - A few fish at Punta Colorada.
.. OFFSHORE: The last several days the tuna at Isla Cerralvo have produced
the best action.
.. INSHORE: Sierra, ladyfish, jacks and a few roosters in front of the hotels
and La Ribera to Bartle Beach.
.. BEACH: Jacks to 20 pounds, ladyfish, pompano and a few lookdowns under
the sardinia.
.. QUICK COMMENT - Plenty of quality jacks have held our attention most of
the week. Maurice Holloway along with his son Keith, from San Francisco,
have had a great week sampling beach, panga and pontoon fishing. Maurice was
the hot rod the first day catching three good-sized jacks from the beach.
Yesterday, (6/8) they both landed some good-sized skipjack and lost a nice
yellowfin tuna.
