IN GENERAL Storms gone, dorado and tuna catches have begun to ramp-up and a
few stripers and sails are showing up in the pattern as well. All in all it is business as usual except for the off-color water that still persists close to shore. We are beginning to see a few areas that are cleaning up along Rooster Alley.

· OFFSHORE: Few boats make it tough to assess conditions, however the few
boats out have been scoring on tuna under the porpoise and finding a few
scattered dorado. Sails in front of La Ribera and stripers and a couple of blues
outside of Punta Pescadero.
· INSHORE: Still dirty, dirty, dirty, but beginning to clean up a bit.
· BEACH: Starting to find a few pockets of clean water and a few spots of bait.
BILLFISH - Pretty good show on the sails, maybe a handful of shots a day.
YELLOWFIN TUNA - Under the porpoise schools produced the best action with a
few gorillas mixed in, where’s the 12-weight?
DORADO - Scattered at best with no real concentration.
ROOSTERFISH - As the water cleans up it will begin to pick up.
JACK CREVALLE - Smaller variety under the receivers at La Ribera.
BARRILETE OR MEXICAN SKIPJACK - Look along the color break
PARGO AND CABRILLA - Wait until the water cleans up a tad.
SIERRA - Dirty water inshore makes it tough.

IN GENERAL: Sunny and less soggy every day. Offshore, the locals keep talking
about the dorado, tuna and more billfish every day. Yellows still hanging out at the entrada under the bird schools. Devil’s Curve looked pretty fishy yesterday, but only produced a few small snook and pargo.

YELLOWTAIL - Bird schools are the best sign to get you on ‘em.
CORVINA - Under the bridge early morning before breakfast is providing some
good action.
SNOOK - With a few smaller ones showing up the bigger variety can't be far
behind.
HALIBUT - Find a shallow sandy beach and dredge with a chartreuse Clouser.
SIERRA - Pier and bird schools the best place.
