This week has been very up and down,
Marlin
We had 1 sailfish on Monday and 3 marlins on Wednesday on the Bob Marlin, the rest of the week very slow.
Dorado
Has been good, today the Bob Marlin had 11 dorados in the boat by 8:30am and 8 on my other boat the Bite Me, we have been catching a few all week, 1 fish 50lb super nice dorado on Thursday.
Tuna
Slow most of the week, few boats running out 33 miles to the outside San Jaime Banks found the most football size, few 30lb to 40lb. Some fish on the kite and cedar plugs and king busters.
Wahoo
No reports
Inshore
The pangas have been getting few dorado and striped marlin, lots of skip jacks come on down, the weather is hot.
Not many people, everything is open.

WEATHER: Reviewing the forecast for Cabo San Lucas Over the next 14 days and the average daytime maximum temperature will be around 34°C, with a high for the two weeks of 35°C expected on the afternoon of Friday 2nd. The average minimum temperature will be 25°C, dipping to its lowest on the morning of Saturday 3rd at 24°C. The fortnight ahead will remain predominantly dry. On the whole winds are likely to be moderate.

Soft Mahi Mahi Tacos with Ginger-Lime Dressing
Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
6 (3 ounce) fillets mahi mahi fillets
⅓ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
1 dash cayenne pepper
1 large mango - peeled, seeded and diced
1 cup diced fresh pineapple
1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
1 jalapeno pepper, minced
6 (6 inch) flour tortillas, warmed
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the mahi-mahi with salt and pepper. Cook the fillets in the hot oil until the fish is golden brown on each side, and no longer translucent in the center, about 3 minutes per side.
Step 2
Meanwhile, whisk together the sour cream, lime juice, ginger, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper to taste; set aside. Gently combine the mango, pineapple, avocado, and jalapeno in a bowl.
Step 3
To assemble, place a cooked mahi-mahi fillet into the center of a warmed tortilla. Place a scoop of the mango salsa onto the fish, then drizzle with the sour cream sauce, and finish with a generous pinch of chopped cilantro.
COCKTAIL
Frozen Sangria Slush
Ingredients
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
2 cups red wine* (I used a cheap Tempranillo)
1/4 cup orange juice
2 ounces brandy
1 lime, juiced
1 cup ice*
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender EXCEPT ice and puree until slushy. If you need it to be more ‘slushy', add ice*.
Notes
If you don't want to water down your slush with ice, then you can make red wine ice cubes before hand. Simply place the red wine in an ice cube tray and freeze until mostly solid; the alcohol will prevent it from freezing completely.
BEWARE: Please beware of the guys in the street selling boat charters. If you wait till the day you are fishing and go to the dock where your boat is many times people will mislead you to another boat or dock trying to put you on a boat that was not meant for you. You need to have a person guide you to your boat, who is from a reputable charter company. This way there is no confusion or misleading. Please remember when renting Sport fishing boats in Cabo that you rent your boat from reputable and established business. Walk into a fishing fleet office and ask questions about what you are getting and what are the costs. You don't want to rent boats from vendors in the streets and you do not want to book through shady websites offering you the world. Check through travel forums about reputable fishing fleets to deal with. Look for testimonials about the fleet your booking, your charter with. Ask about what will the boat be supplying? Will it include beverages or lunches? How much does it cost to fillet your catch? Check to see if charter boat is insured? Ask about getting your catch smoked? Check cost of a fishing license. These are just a few things to consider when booking your charter boat. We will be talking more about this in the next weeks fishing report.
