HOLY MACKEREL !!!!! Beautiful weather has greeted our charter clients with warm sunny afternoons and cool, clear mornings.
The Striped marlin bite continues to improve, but this week it was the Yellowfin Tuna and Sierra Mackerel that took center stage.
The Sierra are thick along the Pacific side from the Lighthouse north to Migrino Beach. Big fish up to 40 inches long were common over the weekend. Caught mostly on strip and cut bait along with whole mackerel.
Seems that every cast you were hooked into one of these great tasting fish.
The Yellowfin Tuna continue to run strong offshore under schools of porpoise averaging 25 to 30 lbs.
Our friends from the Mack Bulldog Group fished 2 days with our fleet and bothdays they loaded up on the Yellowfin Tuna and Sierra.
TOTAL FLEET PRODUCTION
