Cabo San Lucas - Saltwater Fishing Report
Our fishing report is compiled from the weekly catches of our fleet.
We'll update the report every thuesday.
You just never know what will happen when you drop a bait or drag plastic
around the baja peninsula. Over the weekend a strong wahoo bite took
place off of the Red Rock at the Westin Hotel. Multiple wahoo were caught
and more were lost by inexperienced anglers that let slack in the line and
the wahoo unbuttoned. It's strange for these speedsters to be plying our
waters this time of year….but we'll take it. The Striped Marlin bite continues
to be a mystery with only 1 Marlin caught all week. Total fleet production
was 1 Striped Marlin, 13 Dorado, 39 Yellowfin Tuna, 9 Wahoo, 1 Roosterfish,
and 33 Sierra. Our highlight of the week was Mr. Davis and his family on
Saturday boating 5 Wahoo to 40 lbs. on our 32' Cabo Express "Picante Express"
with Captain Antonio "Nino" Romero at the helm. On the 18th. Mr. Koby and
his friends also fished on the "Picante Express" and boated 17 Yellowfin
Tuna & 1 Dorado…..GOT WASABI !!!!
