Cabo San Lucas - Saltwater Fishing Report

Our report is compiled from the catches of our fleet.
We'll update the report each week.

Old friends and Corporate groups kept our guys busy this week. The Striped Marlin fishing remains spotty although by weeks end all the boats were
having multiple shots at these hard fighting fish.

On March 1st. our old friend Neil Connor booked our fast 32' Cabo Express "Picante Express" with Captain Antonio "Nino" Romero at the helm. The day started out kind of strange. Neil and his lady friend are normally the first ones to the dock in the morning and we were beginning to get a bit concerned as the 8:00 hour rolled around and still no sign of Neil. Our guys waited and a bit after 9:00 am Neil strolled into the office. A few years ago Neil built a home on the Pacific side of the peninsula and bought a truck to provide transportation while he is in Cabo. Seems they had a flat tire on their truck and changed the tire to head to town. Before hitting the pavement the spare was flat also. So they were able to flag
down a ride to the local tire store and waited for them to open. With 2 repaired tires in tow they again hitched a ride back to the truck to get back on the road. Although arriving late they are still our boat of the day boating12 nice Yellowfin Tuna. Great to have you back in Cabo Neil !!! Total fleet production was 23 Yellowfin Tuna,18 Sierra Mackerel, 5 Yellowtail & 1 Shark.
