Cabo San Lucas - Saltwater Fishing Report

Our report is compiled from the catches of our fleet.
We'll update the report each week.
This week was highlighted by the return of a Striped Marlin bite over the Gordo Banks. A strong warm water current heading south out of the Sea of Cortez brought warmer water over the Banks and our guys are finding the fish.
On April 18th. John from "FISH TALK RADIO" and Mike "The Grizz" Ritz from "Adventures South of the Border" tv crew spent the day on
our 35' Cabo Express "SALSA". It's great when a plan comes together as the tv crew got lots of footage releasing 2 Striped Marlin and boating a nice size Wahoo. Total fleet production was 5 Striped Marlin and a Wahoo.
April 24th. proved to be another productive day for those that chartered with the "PICANTE" fleet. Regular client Mr. Arentschildt and his friends chased the fish aboard our 35' Cabo Express "CISCO" with Captain Jose "Mocho" Nunez at the helm and deckhand Ricardo working the cockpit and had a great day releasing 2 Striped Marlin and boating 2 nice Dorado. These are the first Dorado we've seen in 2 weeks…..the water over the Gordo Banks is finally warming and the fish seem to be gathering there. Total fleet production was 6 Striped Marlin, 2 Yellowtail, 3 Roosterfish and 2 Dorado.
