Cabo San Lucas - Saltwater Fishing Report
VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE !!!!! So it is in life and in fishing.
The waters surrounding the baja peninsula are still warmer than normal but that hasn't stopped our crews from finding a wide variety of fish for our charter clients. On February 9th. yacht owners Rod and Barbara Keller fished on their boat "RAMROD" with Captain Gilberto Castro at the helm. Dorado was the catch of the day with 4 big fish being boated and releasing 12 chicken Dorado. Mid week Dr. Scardino and his family headed offshore on our 35' Cabo Express " CISCO" with Captain Jose "Mocho" Nunez at the controls. They had a great day releasing a big Striped Marlin and boating 4 Dorado. As the week came to a close yacht owner Kirk Scoggins and his family spent the day at sea on their vessel "REHAB" with Captain Emiliano Arenas working the controls. All of the fish seemed to be in close as pelicans were diving into the surf along the sandy beaches on the pacific side. Within 3 miles of the beach they released 2 Striped Marlin. The rest of the fleet stayed along the beach at "Migrino" and loaded up on Sierra Mackerel.
