Weekly Fishing Report by Picante Sportfishing
December 28th , 2009 to January 3rd. 2010
Our fishing report is compiled from the weekly catches of our fleet.
We'll update the report every Monday.
As always seem the case, the Christmas and New Years holidays brings lots
of tourists to our sleepy fishing village. This year was no exception as all our boats were
busy over the holidays. The fish did not disappoint as well. On December 28th.
Ky Doucet and his family fished on our 32' Cabo Express "Picante Express"
and Captain Antonio "Nino" Romero kept them in the fish. They released 3 Striped
Marlin and boated 12 Dorado. Also on the 28th. Mr. Stimpson and his family fishing
on our beautiful 45' Cabo Express "Picante 45" with Captain Eduardo "Lalo"
Cesena at the helm boated a huge 450 lb. Pacific Blue Marlin that got tailwrapped
and died during the 2 hour fight. Look for pictures and videos on www.bloodydecks.com .
December 29th. continued to produce Striped Marlin and lots of food to fill our clients
coolers with 77 tuna and 71 dorado boated. Mr. Hobbs and his friends had a great day
on our 35' Cabo Express rocketship "SALSA" with Captain Juan Carlos "Brincos"
Lopez at the helm releasing a Striped Marlin and boating 5 dorado. As the full moon
continues to wane the Striped Marlin bite starts to improve with 7 Striped Marlin
released on January 3rd.
