Cabo San Lucas - Saltwater Fishing Report

Our fishing report is compiled from the weekly catches of our fleet.
We'll update the report every Monday.
The Striped Marlin bite continues to improve although the catch rates are spotty at best. Some days the fish are on the surface feeding on live bait and the next day they are down deep and it's necessary to get the bait down to them. On December 7th.
Mr. Trabano and his family had a world class day on our 35' Cabo Flybridge " Picante Dream" with Captain Pablo Cesena at the helm. They released 7 Striped Marlin and boated 2 Dorado on the Golden Gate Bank.
Our old friend Mason Phelps chartered our 45' Cabo Express "Picante 45" for 4 days with his friends from Colorado. Mason has fished all over the world and still makes his way to Cabo when he can. He doesn't travel as much as a few years ago because of health reasons, but at 85 years young he is still always ready to make the short flight from southern Calif. and visit our desert paradise.
Total production for the 4 days was 18 Striped Marlin, 13 Dorado & 6 Yellowfin Tuna. His friends had never been deep sea fishing before and will have stories to tell friends and relatives.
FLEET PRODUCTION
59 Striped Marlin
56 Dorado
