Biloxi, Mississippi - Late Run Leads To Big Trout Bite!

Capt. Robert L. Brodie
October 27, 2009
Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report

Made a late run out this afternoon, and it was all top-water fishing. Ben Benoit of Biloxi, MS was aboard TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS, and man did he have a blast tossing a MirrOlure She-Dog.

Ten really gorgeous specks graced the live well, but twice that many were easily lost.

Often surface explosions had the top-water plugs tossed 3-feet into the air, and that was some exciting fishing.

We had the ideal conditions for catching these trout today, calm seas and clear water.

Hope to head out after Florida pompano tomorrow if conditions are right, and will report back then.

Regards and thanks to all,
