Mississippi Sound - Saltwater Fishing Report
Last couple of trips were half-a-day outings, and the bite was very good considering we had to fish in poor weather conditions...rain and wind.
On one trip anglers caught plenty of white trout and black drum, a father and daughter duo. They fished well and you can see from the pics they went home with a fine mess of fish on an afternoon trip.
Today had another fun group from Georgia, and they boxed approxsimately 30 black drum and big sheepshead. It was blowing a gale, and it took a while to find the fish in deep water. Bottom line...we found them!
Few days ago took friends to Cumbest Bayou in Moss Point, MS and we caught some really fine white trout and speckled trout. That's the area I duck hunt.
On that trip I took my 19-foot G3, and we scouted plenty of redheads already down. Don't forget that TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS conducts diving duck hunts too, and the season begins the day after Thanksgiving.
And yes, the speckled trout have moved into our coastal rivers and bayous. Casting and slow trolling soft-plastics is a fun way to fish for the specks, and the river settings are simply gorgeous.
It's still on...come on down...let's fish!
Remember, TEAM BRODIE CHARTERS is a full-time year-round light tackle guide service in Biloxi, MS.
Regards and many thanks to all,
