These o,l boys had never been on the gulf so they were really excited to get under way. Figured we would start out on some trout, had a good bite right away, bunch of jerking i mean really jerking after they pulled in about the 4th set of lips, I finally had to settle them down a little.
Look these White trout lips not as tough as a bass you gone have to be just a lil gentle with um.An they did an it started to get pretty steady, The fresh cut bait was really working.
After about 25 or so White Trout An A dozen or so Ground Mullet,1 young man hollerd what the hell is this, I looked bout the time I looked up I could see a nice flouder falling back into the water, lets get a net on them. Are they good eating he asked? well yes: We tallied up a good 65 white trout,4 keeper flounder,15 ground mullett, 3 specks, An I offered since the wind had laided down a quick run out to the island to see if we could hook up on something to pull your string just a lil bit harder. Shoot yea sounds good.
