Pascagoula River - Saltwater Fishing Report

Top Water Specks and Reds

The water temp is up to nearly 80 degrees, and that means top water fishing. We have had several great catches lately on top in the early morning. We're catching specks up to about 5 pounds and reds up to 20 pounds using Top Dogs and the out-of-production Producer's Ghost (if anyone knows where I can buy more let me know).

We're also catching a mixture of reds, specks, and flounder bottom fishing with live cocohoes. The live bait is producing specks in the 1 to 2 pound range, reds in the 5 to 10 pound range, and flounder up to 2 pounds.
