Tough Times This Week

Pascagoula River - Saltwater Fishing Report

In spite of good quality live pogy we have had trouble getting bites this week. Up until now we were able to count on flounder to make up for finicky specks and reds, but this week the flounder were also hard to find.

A week ago we were limiting out on reds and catching good numbers of flounder. This inconsistency is typical for this time of year, though. We will have to deal with the inconsistent catches until September when the fall pattern begins.

Fishing the beautiful marshes of the Pascagoula River for speckled trout, redfish, and flounder. We leave the dock at daylight and fish for 7 hours. Everything is provided: tackle, live bait, lures, soft drinks and water. Just 5 minutes off I-10 in Moss Point, MS.
