Bull Shoals - Freshwater Fishing Report

The water level at greers ferry lake is at 465.54 ,it is 3.5 feet above normal pool of 462.04 feet and falling even with the 2.58's rain we have had the water temp is in the 8o's.

The hybrid and white bass fishing is good in 25-35 feet of water with the generation and some smaller fish are coming to the surface at times, concentrate around the shad during generation and the bite is good with spoons,in-line spinners and swim baits.

The bream are starting to bed with the moon and the bite will be good if you can get to them with the water high , use crawlers and crickets for the best results.

Catfishing is good all over the lake with numbers and big fish coming in as well using a variety of baits on lines and jugs, stay close to the river channel.

Crappie are slow with all the generation, try minnows, jigs and small crank baits in 15-20 feet of water.

Walleye bite is slow , can not seem to catch over 1 or 2 and its over, try dragging crawlers in 15- 19 feet of water.

The bass fishing is good early morning on top and through the day in brush piles and on drops with texas rigged worms and football heads.
