White River Fishing Report 05/08/12 to 05/15/12

The White River has had a great bite going on. Lower water levels have been the trend and the bite has been on. On one trip this week the two clients in the boat on a half day caught 40 fish 25 of those were Browns and the largest was 28 inches. Best baits right now are Frozen Shad, CD7 or CD9 in gold or silver, Rouges blue or black back with orange belly. Bait fishing Sculpin, Nightcrawlers, or Shad has been producing some sizable Rainbows. Powerbait and Powerbait Trout worms in yellow, bubblegum,or orange has been doing well to catch numbers. For the Fly Fisherman Streamers and White Jigs. Call me if you have questions. Be sure of yourself or get a guide. Now is some of the best times to catch world class fish. Call 870-445-4444 for availability, or visit the website at www.bullshoals.com/marmar or [email protected].
