Livingston Spring Creeks heating up

Brian McGeehan
March 5, 2010
Bozeman - Freshwater Fishing Report

DePuys, Nelson's and Armstrong's spring creeks are heating up. Rainbows are running out of the Yellowstone and into the creeks in preparation to spawn. Fishing is good and will only get better as more fish move in and temps keep rising. Right now the hot flies are still nymphs, egg patterns, pink scuds and midge larva. The midge hatch will be improving and dries will be an option soon.
