Montana fishing report

Brian McGeehan
March 28, 2010
Bozeman - Freshwater Fishing Report

We are experiencing a warm spring and the weather has been terrific. The river temps are starting to rise and fish are becoming more active. Baetis hatches have started and are in full swing on the Madison, Gallatin, Yellowstone and spring creeks on cloudy days. Rainbows are either in pre spawn or already on the reds. Tons of bows are making their way into the Livingston spring creeks. Fishing is good with baetis nymphs and dries. Egg patterns and san juan worms are also productive.
