High water still rules in SW Montana

Capt. William De Shaw
June 24, 2009
Jefferson River - Freshwater Fishing Report

Hi Everyone,
The water is still dark on the Jeff, and Gallatin, and Yellowstone, and very high. The Jeff will be another 2 weeks before it starts to drop and clear.
The lower Madison will still fish as it has stayed fairly cool. Upper Madison will fish good as the water clears. Although it comes out of Hebgen dam, all of the tributaries that dump into it are experiencing runoff conditions. It is begining to clear. I will be running some great specials on the Jeff, especially multi day packages...I mean some way discounted recession, depression, prices!!!!
email me at [email protected], or call me at
406-579-7661 for some great prices.
Join us for a great summer.
