First SeaBass trip

Capt. Karl McKenna
May 26, 2016
Sandy Hook - Saltwater Fishing Report

Left the Blues in the bay today and headed offshore to test the bottom fishing. Water still a little cold for the Fluke so I targeted Sea Bass. Even though the water was still a little dirty Found plenty of small fish on the near shore grounds with some nice keepers thrown in. Not a slaughter, but considering the conditions, not a bad trip either.
I will be running more of these trips mixed with Fluke while the season lasts.

Sandy Hook Fishing Forecast:

With the hot weather finally here I expect the water will warm up quickly and trigger a better bite.

Target Species:

Sea Bass

More Fishing Reports:

Light tackle sport fishing for Stripers, Blues, Weakfish and Fluke in the Sandy Hook NJ area.
