Fishing report 3/3/ 05
The current San Juan River flow is 342cfs. The river is off-colored with visibility of about 18-30". The river is fishing good. The days are getting warmer with spring in the air. The beatis hatch will be starting soon. This year should be one of the best for the Juan, we are going to have a long high water run off. This will clean the river of siltation. The fish will move thru out the entire river system. The back channels will fishing great. This is some of the best fishing the river has to offer. UPPER FLATS TO TEXAS HOLE: Fishing has been good in the braids and the upper flats water. The main channel is still being over fished. . The river flow increase helped this area, and the braids.. The bottom line about fishing the main channel is be prepared too share. It is always crowed any more..

TEXAS HOLE to end of the quality waters
This area of the river is fishing fair. The fish are starting to move into the deep slow water, and the overall report is that the lower river us affected by cold night temps. The colder the night the slower the fishing.
